About Us

CONGO RIVER INSTITUTE is a non-profit association based in Kinshasa (DRC) with a branch in Brazzaville (RC). It brings together academics, civil servants from national and international institutions, civil society and human rights activists as well as experts of different domains. Its members come from the countries of the Central African region and its diaspora and are aware of the challenges Central Africa is facing.

The CRI produces scientific knowledge and practical guidelines in order to reduce poverty, social, political and economic inequalities and to promote the collective security of the eleven States in Central Africa.
